..... are Havant & Waterloo just outside the relegation zone? Ok, it's obvious that our stikers are knackered, and to use a by now a worn out phrase, we couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo, but H&W's defence were awesome today. I'm really amazed that they've lost as many as they have. A couple of whinges points from today. 2 portaloos for (way) over 800 fans?  ?? Catering - just glad I had a dubious looking hot dog in the bar beforehand, someone near me queued for 54 minutes for a portion of chips. Parking - fans were told that they could park cars on the grass verges, then a tannoy announcement telling the owners to shift them before they were clamped. Finally - ISIHAC, where were you? Got to meet the lovely Skif again though  |

That all sounds very tinpot. I would suggest that it is probably down to H&W not used to dealing with that many people. Not that I know anything about their attendances; I may well be wrong. |

Very nice to see your equally lovely self, Meadow.
Just under three times the usual crowd but we had a similar one for the Brentford game, and three times as many again when we played Swansea so its not like we've never had to deal with it before. Two portaloos is ridiculous.
We had no control over the clamping thing as far as I'm aware. Parking occurs on the grass verges before very game, my London Branch colleague always parks there when we drive down, I've never known any clamping to happen before. Heard some suggestion the police wanted it cleared, just as they wanted it segregated too, for reasons I'm not clear about as I really don't think your lot have a rep for trouble. Perhaps they were worried about the local scrotes trying to cause some.
That tea bar in the corner is our regular one and is not exactly rapid service at the best of times, but with many more to cater for, I'm certainly not surprised by those timings.
I didn't see ISIHAC either so you weren't being ignored, I'm guessing he couldn't make it. Which is a pity. Always good to have 'The Undertaker' around. Hope all's well Steve!
yes, our defence was good on Saturday but it's been little errors at the back that have cost us (until recently its been Elphick and Simpemba at centre half - but Elphick and Gasson with Simpemba sitting in front seems to be working slightly better). It was as solid a showing as I've seen from us this season. It's the forward line thats the problem. Paul Booth won the golden boot with Lewes last season but we've seen virtually nothing of that from him, and our midfield can go missing quite often. Thus if we do go behind, it's usually game over. Not always, but usually. Two of our three top scorers this season are Elphick and Simpemba, which perhaps tells its own story.
