There's a nice City a few miles East of Hereford for you to have a drink in if you fancy it Suttonites?

I was hoping the Suttons would get a Sunday home tie so I could pop down and watch 'em again.
Not that having a few Hawks in situ helped their efforts against Notts County last year.
It's fair to say we overestimated our talismanic qualities.

And who was it who slipped in the possibility of Eastleigh's first foray in the Proper competition being Barrow?? Chester - excellent away weekend Beano - but Barrow?? Oh, dear me no!
Hereford. Now THAT's tempting... ;D Anyone think that Paulton Rovers might get the TV bragging rights?

Chester - excellent away weekend Beano - but Barrow?? Oh, dear me no! Utterly superb football ground though, on the upside. I present my notes from my trip there by way of evidence - dubsteps.blogspot.com/2006/01/barrow-1-cambridge-city-2.htmlAnyone think that Paulton Rovers might get the TV bragging rights? If they play it at their own ground, yes. Vics v Charlton may well get a look-in.

Paulton Rovers, don't know where they're from and I certainly don't know the the vagueuries on which televised rights belong. Last year Eastwood who were the lowest ranked team in the comp were drawn at home to a then unbeaten Wycombe in the first round, potential bananaskin if ever there was one, withall the "romance of the cup" that entailed. But no the BBC showed Brentford against some other non-league outfit, which Brentford won. Eastwood beat Wycome and went on to the third round where they had the mis-fortune to draw that arrogant bunch of b@st@rds Klattering at Rockerbilly road.

I've heard that they're from the Bristol sort of area. Yeah, Bristol "sort of" about covers it- nearer Bath, but that general area. Frankie, dude! You know full well that we got the Brentford tickle on the back of NOT having been shown live at Anfield ;D

A few of us gathered in the pub for the draw. Little cheer from pinky and myself when Sal popped up on the coverage. A trip to Hereford is a possibilty should be get knocked out tomorrow. Bit of trek for us if we do get through. Accrington who? Exactly!! Looking at 6 or 7 hours each way on the train and about 100 notes with advance bookings out the window. Hardly the money spinning glamour tie but not beyond possibilities that we could see one of my remaining SCFC ambitions, to see us beat a league club, something we've never done before.
