At a "kangaroo court" held yesterday a decision to uphold a motion of no confidence in chairman and main benefactor Steve Greaves was passed.
The club has nowhere to go now and I and a fair few others will no longer visit Watnall road.

So there's nowhere to go, nothing to be done? What are you doing to do?

So there's nowhere to go, nothing to be done? What are you doing to do? Ride me bike some Sat'days, have a pint on others. It breaks my heart "Sal" while I wish the TEAM well and always will, the CEO and the crew (mis)running the the show can go stuff themselves, and they won't get another penny off me while they're there.

Really sorry to hear that, Frankie. Very sad. I hope you'll still come and visit us on here

It's a hard one to read and accept - even to understand, given the drum, the passion, that group behind the goal which left the team in no doubt that they were appreciated and supported...
But if there is a window for a pint or two at some footballing venue, then I owe you one at least. ;-)
It's a bloody shame Frankie.

Thanks for those kind words Steve, you've experienced the Hucknall fans first hand and what we lack in numbers we make up for in passion and originality(song wise) . It was a tough call but to turn my back on the club, I'll always support the team but as I've said while ever the current CEO and president are in charge of the club I just can't bring my self to support it. I'll keep you all posted on here and yes, hopefully, we will get to have a pint before too long. All the best mate. ;D

I can sort of imagine a ground-hopper on two wheels; with a pannier or rucksack instead of ye fabled Tesco carrier bag. :-)
What do you think??

The latest, not only am I and the "choir" upping sticks the football club secretary has walked.
Not sure if he was pushed or shoved, knowing Tony though, I would think he walked.

Fabled it is! My imagination. It's won awards for being more imaginative than a vegetarian armed with a spear, faced by the world's last and charging lion! And some. :-)

The club president (Brian Holmes) has described the attitude/views of the supporters on HTFC fans forum (unofficial site) a disgrace.

The cold weather has given me a break from the footie and I've calmed down considerably. After a lot of soul searching I've decided to go back to Watnall road, I'm not going to cut my nose off to spite my face.
I support the team, not the regime.
No drum, no choir, no goes on the fund raising jobs. I didn't even go in the club for a pint today. Personally I'm struggling but, a lot stayed away and I spoke to a lot today who were only down there for the same reason as I, that being by not attending they'd only be denying themselves one of lifes small pleasures.

Good for you, Frankie. No reason to let those bar stewards stop you supporting your team

Can't help feeling the same as you Frankie in reference to the situation at Northwich.
We have no ground, are playing in venues miles away from the town and have no money or future as the current club. I sometimes wonder why I bother travelling to Macclesfield and Nantwich for nothing, but I do it to get behind the lads and because I love watching football and meeting up with my mates.
It's a shame that there is a split amongst our fanbase. Some fans just can not see fault with Jim Rushe, while most on our forum can't stand the man. They are viewed dimly by Jim Rushe. We are made to feel like we are not proper fans, even though a lot of us have stuck by the club thick and thin for years. We just want change and a club ran by our supporters.
Don't know whether it's similar at Hucknall mate. Are there people that still get behind the chairman etc...?
