I still think it is far easier and more logical to put Tamworth in the south... So 99% certain we'll go north then. Only because you live in the south! There is no logical reason to put us into the south when we will pass the grounds of at least four teams on our travels every other week. I've been playing with maps this week (beats working) and no matter how I draw the dividing line we end up in the north. For me the cop out that the Conference officials have if they are struggling to juggle the divisions is the formation of a new club in Solihull Moors, in allowing this amalgamation to take up Poor Green's place rather than Solihull Borough's place they can probably stick them where they like, and as they play at least twenty miles south of Tamuff then if a team needs to move to balance the divisions it should be them.

Only because you live in the south! I can assure you it takes just as long to get to somewhere like Sutton or Eastbourne as it does to anywhere in Derbyshire or Manchester. In fact, going north would be far less effort for me than going south - if TV4 ever gets finished it'll be an absolute breeze! There is no logical reason to put us into the south when we will pass the grounds of at least four teams on our travels every other week. I've been playing with maps this week (beats working) and no matter how I draw the dividing line we end up in the north. There is a very logical reason for putting Tamworth in the south and it doesn't require any maps to work it: It's good old fashioned fair play. A league relegates four sides into two feeder leagues that each promote two teams. The four relegated sides are likely to be amongst the better teams in the league below and the four promoted teams are likely to be amongst the best from the feeder leagues. (Play offs do destroy some of the truth in that statement, but that's another debate.) If you don't distribute teams evenly between the two divisions, you'll end up with one very strong division and one weak-as-a-woman's-fart division. That is bad for the game. It is also bad for the teams in the 'strong' division, as they will find it harder to get promoted. I'll think you'll find that is a very logical reason.

Tamuff in the south would be awesome. Imagine all the piss ups when we cross paths in London plus the actual games between us

Fart oo logical Jase, tha Conference will never go for it.
The one big problem I can see with that is that it will eventually lead to more and more 'northern' teams playing in BS South and vice versa.
"Regional" leagues need to be...errr...regional!

The Conference Nord has lost five teams through promotion and relegation.
We get two clubs from the UPL (Burscough and Telford) and three from the Conference National (Alty, Tamuff and Southport).
The Conference Sarf loses five clubs aswell (presumably) and they get back one from the Conference National (St Albans) and four from the Southern and Ismithian leagues.
Seems to work out, could be wrong of course.

Actually I've wanted to play them since before then for whatever odd reason. Is it because both of the country's main rail lines cross at Tamworth? I still think it is far easier and more logical to put Tamworth in the south... So 99% certain we'll go north then. Ah you're clever, you can see the ground from Tamworth high level station. But it's not that, there's just something about them that makes me want to play Tamworth (not me personally of course, they'd beat me by at least a couple of goals).
