At the start of the season, Droylsden and Farsley celtic promoted to the conference national. Certainly not me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Droylsdon yes. They looked pretty good last year and took us to penalties in the play-off final. They strengthened when Conf-Nat Southport went pro and some of the Sandgrounder's better part-timers dispersed between Droylesdon and Burscough ( who also won their league) rather than give up their jobs
Farsley have done a "mini-Wimbledon" by going up 3 leagues in 4 seasons. I wonder what Oxford will make of going there next season...... ;D

What pi**es me off is, our ground three seasons ago (when we won NPL) was better than Farsley's is now. We were denied promotion to the con national 'cos our ground wasn't good enough.

Someone with a wicked sense of humour has pointed out that if Farsley Celtic and Leeds United get successive promotions and relegations, then they'd meet in League Two in 2008/09. ;D
