each to his(her) own. who are we to judge ?
what you do with your life is up to you pet, that is assuming you have a life outside of music ?

To each their own. It's good to have a variety of interests in life I reckon. I enjoy cycling and all types of music. I noticed in the "extensive" list of the bands, the pipettes are named three times. Have you been to see them three times or do you suffer short term memory loss ;D

the rakes are listed few times too. same question !? as it is only may (nearly june i know), it seems an awful lot of bands for only five months of this year so far...?? the only one i have actually heard of is supergrass, don't know what they sang though .

ermm...
My not so impressive list;
MiRMiS a few times plus their support at those gigs.
At the Great Escape festival down in Brighton i saw
Duels (excellent) Guillemots (v.good) Mr Hudson & The Library (excellent) Jeniferever (good) Howling Bells (pretty good) Les Incompetents (good idea badly executed)
Saw a few bands at the Metro club but i can't remember their names though one of them put on a great show and i've also seen Inarchy and Steal Back Your Life which are surprisingly good bands that some of my uni mates are in.

To add to the list: The Rifles Young Knives The Rakes (again) Scanner 586 I think that's 77 this year, want to reach the ton by the end of June which should be acheived as I'm going to Isle of Wight festival and a day at Wireless! Re: comment about doing nothing but watching bands, I do plenty more as well .....

I'm doing crap for gigs this year. Stellastarr* Depeche Mode Jose Gonzalez (Did my husbandly duty for this one!) Going to see Embrace on Cannock Chase in a couple of weeks. I've usually been to about twice as many at this point of the year and this year will be first since 1994 that I won't have been to any festivals. Guess I must be getting old(er).
