'The Whooosh' is exceptionally lame and endorsed by some Exeter supporting thingy-jockey over on Idiotguide. It is there only for the amusement of retards and should not darken the doors of this message board.
So, I have to agree with the Nickers-botty-glory on this.

Oh no, I wouldn't dream of introducing it on here... it's not tinpot enough and doesn't quite fit with our board persona On the conf south forum though it does have its moments. Sometimes it's used almost subtly!

Although I've never yet been involved - either receiving or dishing it out - I still have a certain warm glow for the well-used Whoosh; when the correct protocol is observed, and all parties within the theater[sic] of operations are consulted as to whether there is a justifiable foundation and/or a basis in Law for its deployment. [unlike in the Iraq War, perhaps? ]To me, the Whoosh is a little like those antique bellows you see near the fireplace in a cozy Pub. You know the things? They're almost heart-shaped, with wooden handles and a leather 'lung' which you pump to get the embers going again. You don't actually need them, nor even want them particularly, but somehow it's reassuring to know that they are always there available!
