I only stopped by to enquire about the Battersea Beer Festival at the weekend, but i don't seem to be able to create a new thread... Oh well. I still listen to CDs -the order you listen to the tracks in is important. My mp3 collection on the machine at work is therefore only a tiny fraction of my CD collection, just 778 tracks. Sneaker Pimps - "Low Five" Ritual - "Typhoons Decide" Porcupine Tree - "Voyage 34, Phase II" a-ha - "Scoundrel Days" Dorp - "Blow" Depeche Mode - "John the Revelator" OSI - "Go" Jean Michel Jarre - "Équinoxe, Part 5" Godspeed You! Black Emperor - "Moya" Kyrb Grinder - "My Heart Bleeds" What you people really need is to join Coops and myself over at www.last.fm Then you can have a gizmo like this: Plus access to loads of free 'radio stations' (and now on demand audio too) which give you 'random' music, such as... Minus the Bear – "We Are Not a Football Team" (the new Scaffold Rangers theme tune ;D) Blackfield – "This Killer" Anathema – "Panic" Sneaker Pimps – "Sick" Porcupine Tree – "The Rest Will Flow" Pure Reason Revolution – "Nimos And Tambos" Kingston Wall – "I Feel Love" (Finnish prog cover of the Donna Summer classic!) Hope of the States – "Sing It Out" dredg – "The Canyon Behind Her" Living Colour – "Flying" Get with it, kids! The PRA is back!

Yes, must start using Last FM a bit more, I spend most of my time playing with various online radio programmes and am probably missing out on one of the best.

I only stopped by to enquire about the Battersea Beer Festival at the weekend, but i don't seem to be able to create a new thread... Oh well. The BBF will have finished at the weekend - it's on from tomorrow (Wed) until Friday. On the plus side, I think at least two Tinpotters will be in attendance on Friday evening (which I suppose counts as part of the weekend). Not only is the beer list great, customers can admire the set of the Battersea Art Centre's award-winning production of The Masque of the Red Death - performances of which have been suspended for the week to accommodate us!

If Friday is the last day, will there be any beer left? Specifically, will there be any decent beer left?
Wukkie away on Saturday - that's a long trek after a few pints. I'd probably have to start boozing early and finish early. Then again, it's a long trek anywhere to watch Blue Square Shite. Bring back the DMPL!

Some classics there Coops. Are Furniture official one hit wonders, or did they release something else that staggered into the charts? You can spot all the iSheep with their crappy iSoftware/iHardware buggering up their iLives - they are the ones insisting on the geeky title - performer notation... Get some iFreedom and lose the iDRM! ;D Muse - "Knights of Cydonia" Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band - "13 Blues For Thirteen Moons" Celtic Frost - "I Won't Dance (The Elders' Orient)" King's X - "Smudge" Georgie Strange - "Bright New Thing (demo)" Half Zaftig - "You Fell" Pendulum - "Slam" The Illuminati - "On Borrowed Time" Mew - "Mica" t.A.T.u - "All the Things She Said" Looks like no go on the beer festival - I've got to baby sit a website until about 7pm.

lol, i did it the other way to you but i was using my SE W950i which happily plays any sh*te i've acquired in various formats without having me lose the will to live waiting for it all to sync.
Surely websites can look after themselves now?
Btw, since yer here and not where i was expecting you tonight, do ye know any good DVD ripping software? I want to rip my Dangermouse box set so i can plop them on my phone and watch them on the train etc
I have something that converts any video file to my phones format already but can't be arsed with wasting my life finding a decent thing to rip with.
