As our match with Welling showed FA Trophy makes these matches possible as does the FA Cup.

We should have a friendly in respect to our achievements. That would revive a fixture that took place in the 1970's called the "Non-League Champion's Challenge" between the NPL and SLP winners. We lost ours in 1972, 2-3 over 2 legs against Chelmsford at the end of of a long season in which we had won the NPL, Trophy and Staffs Senior Cup. It later became an "early next season" event and i remember Wimbledon, already a 4th Division team, being turned over by NPL champs Boston United. Sounds a nice idea to revive a North v South thing, but you'd probably find the Ryman lot wanting to get involved and the thing would get messed up....

They can be the East from now on, seeing as they're the wannabe south they can play the south in a semi-final first.
