While I absolutely ADORE Proboards for making this forum possible I think they've gone too far by sticking a huge advert below the first post of every thread. It is annoying me

Firefox is the way to go, that is until you try to connect to some large corporation who seem to think that everyone uses IE on a PC and tell you your browser 'is not compatible with this site'. I think you will find it's the other way round..
Nice to see a HMHB sig by the way!

I do use Firefox, but I use IE with this forum. This is so I can have two different home pages. Oh the joys of running* a forum *in the loosest sense of the word

I think you will find it's the other way round.. The only one I've noticed recently was Asda (I love doing the weekly shop online and getting it delivered, beats mixing with the plebs any day!), but they are now Firefox friendly as well. Anyone who isn't, well sod 'em, I'm sure they're not worthy of my business. Nice to have a fellow HMHB fan on The Terrace.

At the risk of being subject to ridicule, what does HMHB stand for?

Even men with steel hearts love to see a dog on the pitch.
(seems there's a few of us on here)
(HMHB fans that is, not men with steel hearts.)

N..The N is for the numbskull who during the Boxing Day game asks me what I else I got for Christmas apart from my whistle.......... ......an afternoon with your wife mate. Tinpot terrace, a warm haven after putting up with the biggest bunch of Newport numpties you could wish to meet! a handful of nice blokes, 800+ assholes young and old. But, being Salisbury, we have a good day, whatever...

Sounds about right to me We've got them on Saturday. The game before and the game after that one, poor Eastbourne have the pleasure of their company both home and away! Poor Eastbourne. Losing to Sutton and then playing Newport twice!
