Whilst watching FC United on Saturday against Holker Street Old Boys, the HSOB 'keeper was slightly rotound. After getting injured during a goalmouth scramble in front of the end where i was standing, some United fans started to chant 'Give him pie, give him pie, give him pie' to the 'Let him die.....' chant, which i thought was a pleasent variation of a stupid chant.

Read one on another forum recently about a rather rotund Preston fan who was being very loud and obnoxious towards the Leeds fans only to be shut up with a chorus of:
"I predict a diet, I predict a diet."

Didn't hear it myself but apparently during the North East derby, Newcastle fans were chanting "GOING DOWN, GOING DOWN, GOING DOWN" to the Sunderland supporters who response was "SO ARE WE, SO ARE WE, SO ARE WE"

You know, I'm sure I've put this elsewhere on here, just can't find it. But we had a player by the name of Dave Town until early this season. Played up front, was a damn fine player & a seriously nice bloke to boot! Anyway. Our goal celebration on his behalf, was to sing in a rather ragged style, Pet Clark's Downtown, with la la la la's replacing the words until we got to the "Downtown" bit, which we replaced with "Dave Town! He remains the only player in memory to celebrate having scored by placing his hands over his ears and cringing in embarrassment.  |

We now have loud rousing renditions of "Ian Hazels Green and White" army at away games and "Ian Hazels yellow and brown Army" (i personally think it should be "Ian hazel's Choccy Amber Army" but i don't lead the song) Not original but it has sure as hell helped lift the team having a ton of Sutton fans all together singing it loud and proud for five minutes in a row. Long may it stay that way |
