We start away to Newport County. Having decided it was too expensive to go, I've now been offered a lift. Nickster not impressed as she misses out, and I'll miss out on a piss up at Kingsmeadow for Sutton's final PSF. But what the hey, needs must.

We start on Saturday - with a nice trip out to Hereford Sorry, 'scuse me if I've got this wrong. Hereford are at home to Leyton Orient. Not exactly tinpot, is it? OK you're a teamhopper so you're sort of excused, but league one? Really

Really Actually Croc (CT Rock in your programmes!) is a referee, I'm the teamhopper! I'm still confused because Wellington is in Shropshire, if he heads to Hereford he'll miss the game.

Yes, I realised afterwards that I'd got the two of you confused. It doesn't help that I don't know who a lot of you support. Sometimes I can make an educated guess and sometimes I just have to work on the occasional clue, hence the googling of Hereford's fixtures.

I think there's a Wellington in Herefordshire aswell and I'm pretty sure they're the ones in West Midlands Premier. Wellington in Shropshire also has a team called Wellington Amateurs who have just been promoted for the 2nd year running (from Shropshire County Premier League and then West Midlands league Division 2) and are now in the West Midland League Division 1. One more promotion and we can then have a battle of the Wellingtons. ;D My electronics teacher/deputy head teacher from secondary school (Lee Tristham) plays for Wellington Amateurs in defence and I think did a lot of the work on their new ground (School Grove) where he was also the first Wellington Amateurs player to score a goal. He recently played in the Wellington Amateurs v AFC Telford preseason friendly.

Aha, yes, The Giggster is correct, forgot about the Hereford Wellington team, my bad as I've actually been there!
Wellington Amateurs are on my "to do" list for this season.

Meadow; it's fair to suggest that, with few exceptions, htose who spend their time watching other people's teams are Tamuff fans too emberarsed to admit it! ;D Actually, it wouldn't be fair to suggest that at all! Coops is Tamuff, Croc is an exiled Wusster man; so exiled in fact that he doesn't now see much of them when on the mainland! If there are to be recommended away trips for AFCW fans, then Worcester is certainly one of them; Bognor another - Weston too, all long distance, but mecca-like. Shame we have lost Cambridge, but Bath once, if not twice, might compensate Back to fans - JEsaj is Tammuff, as is MiB; the Suttton crew you know, I am H&W, The Giggster is of the AFC Telford persuasion; others as they happen along.

I think I'd better print this out, then I've got more chance. Away matches are a bit of a problem for me, but we'll see at the time. Weston is certainly on my list as my parents live there and I can make a cheap weekend of it.
