England to win the World cup/European championship
OR
Your team to win their league or FA Vase/ FA Trophy?
No contest for me ..................ENGLAND every time.

Took a lot of thought, that one.
England, but just occasionally. Reason being, I've seen my club win leagues, promotion, and the FA cup. And they'll do well again, though possibly not to the levels they were before. England have little chance of winning anything major.

Sutton. Although I'm quite a patriotic person, I feel so much more a part of my club and would "feel it" so much more strongly if, say, Sutton won the league. It's what I do week in week out no matter what, so it would be nice to do it at a higher level!

Not quite as easy for me as it sounds. From a Stafford point of view in Connie North, i would view the prospect of going back up to Conference Arrogant with some trepidation due to the state the club is in. I would, however, love to win the FA Trophy again as our last time was in 1979 when i'd just turned 19, 29 sodding years ago. From a Man City standpoint, it's been even longer since Dennis Tuaert's spectacular overhead kick sunk Newcastle in the 75/6 League Cup final while i've had to endure those cheating, jammy rags raking in the silverware. Every four years, however, (providing we qualify) in the summertime the answer become England. I was six years old when we won the World Cup and will have my 50th birthday during the year of South Africa 2010. If we fail again, next time i'll be 54, then 58 etc, etc and the Grim Referee will be starting to sharpen his pencil (I've already had one yellow card and a couple of stern lectures) Apart from the Leek FA Trophy semi-final defeat, which only hurt me so badly because it robbed my late Father of his last chance of seeing the Boro' at Wembley before his stroke in 1990 the result that hurt me most was the Tomaszewki draw at Wembley that saw us fail to qualify for Germany '74 and the most hurtful defeat was the England v West Germany QF at Mexico 70 from 2-0 up. That result from that position has a habit of following me around!

Club. England only interest me when there is no other football to watch.

Having seen Wales robbed of deserved points by a Pole (i wouldn't mind if they did it the Welsh way by picking up players not picked for their own country but when the the last three "Germans" to score past Wales were born in Poland and nabbed by the Krauts first it gets a bit annoying!) when playing Germany last week i can sympathise with dreams being destroyed by Poles It might mean f**k all to the rest of you but Wales' ability to play their tits off and still lose is about as depressing for me as last season watching the U's go down. Would possibly pick a vital qualifier over Sutton but tend to to only try and get tickets for games that don't clash with the choccy and amber boys.
