The result tonight is irrelevent enough not to post it.
Tonight, the Half Time Collection raised £711.53 Well done to all involved ....
I am delighted to announce that the collection amongst the supporters, Club officials and players of Worcester City and Redditch United at tonights game yielded a total of seven hundred and eleven pounds (and 53 pence) - 711.53.
A cheque will be written to a special account that has been set up at Hinckley Branch of the HSBC Bank, namely the 'Matt Gadsby Memorial Fund', and will be forwarded by Club Chairman Dave Boddy with an accompanying letter to the Hinckley Chairman.
Sincere thanks to everyone who contributed. Thanks also to supporters who ran the collection with me, namely Kieran, Sheddy, Ed, Andy Pitt, Hannah and a woman and her friend/family member whose face is very familar to me but whose name I'm afraid I do not know.
Former Club Chairman Mike Sorensen commented 'No collection the Club has run in the past has even come close to this amount'.
Well done all!!
