On qualifying for the finals, brill.
The national team comes first and foremost IMHO.
Even though I only watch premiesh1t if I can't avoid it.

The national team comes first and foremost IMHO. Not for me it doesn't. I forgot it was on and only found out the score when I switched on the car radio this morning.

Not for me, either. I remembered to watch, for a change, and was glad I did (well done boys! spiffing) but always put Sutton first

Realising potential at last eh? I've not seen any highlights but my dad was policing at Wembley last night and said it could have been seven or eight which is unheard of ;D
Incidentally, Russia were torn a new arsehole by Wales for long periods of the game last night so i wouldn't worry about drawing them in SA if they make it through and they almost certainly will as the Germans are wetting themselves about their winner takes all game against Russia in Moscow.

Triumph last night for the boys at Wembley, but disaster tonight for the girls in Helsinki.

The reason I say national team first is because when they do well it unites all English fans and is great for the atmosphere and also the economy. Don't get me wrong I love Hucknall town but if we do well who else on this forum would give a flying fish.

One thing that annoys me big time is when some Engand fans get carried away and expect us to win the bloody thing every time we get there. However, i can see a few omens beginning to emerge. The disciplinarian manager, just like 1966. It's being played in a country with the Greenwich Meridian for the first time since 1966. North Korea have also qualified for the first time since ...1966. In 1966, the celtic fringe failed miserably to qualify for the finals. Could it be?

The planets have to be aligned perfectly for England to win the World Cup, so I'd say we have to wait another thousand years or so.

I would like to refer the honourable gentleman to the current Blue Square Premier Division table with particular reference to the team sitting in third place.

I guess that's my fault for not being around for a few days, by the time I get here the table's gone and updated.
