Footie shirts? Hmmmm....interesting, I might just do that as long as my OH doesn't turn up in an Arsenal top! ;D I'm not necessarily being serious Sal, but what happens if you're running late? I s'pose I could carry round a placard saying 'Tinpotter here'. ;D Oh, and can you bring our memory stick please? Don't worry, I was planning to Might take the afternoon off work.

I think I've got all of Friday off... Masters of Reality are playing 2 hour sets on their current tour, so doors open for the gig at 6:30! (I really hate the way London venues kick you out early just so they can swipe a few quid of kids going to a club night. It's pants.) Support band don't sound too bad either. So, I'm gonna try and hit this fest before they start charging at 4pm - I'll aim for 3-3:30. legging it between 6:30 and 7:30. Beer list looks quite good, so I'm not bothered if I miss the tinpot tour. See some of you there?

I may have missed somebody, but I reckon there were five Tinpotters there yesterday evening - plus Esaj earlier on. Not a bad turnout, and some nice ales and ciders too!

Good to put some faces to names. Bit packed but good beer, sorry it was such a flying visit from me.

I am now satisfied that VotP is a real person, or approximation thereof.

Oddly enough I wasn't always a real person but I seem to have somehow been assimilated.

Nice little beer fest. Good to see a couple of familiar faces - shame I had to go so early, but I didn't want to miss any of the gig seeing as I've been waiting since 1989 to see Masters of Reality live. (They were excellent - two hours and screw the curfew!) Almost went back on Saturday, but we decided to stay in North London as we were checking out the 'daylight music' promo at the wonderful Union Chapel - cracking venue, perfect for the ambient music offered up. It's obvious why religion is going down the pan in the UK though - it's those bleedin' rock hard pews. After two hours my backside and nuts had gone numb... Not nice. I did sneak off later to The Rake to dabble with some German beer around 12%. Hic. Football free weekends rule.
