Gettin' ready to set off for the bright lights of Stourbridge, mate's coming to pick me up at 11.30, Mrs GTH has got my brunch underway. Nothing quite like the FA cup, it means so much to all non-league teams and this is our 18th attempt at trying to make the holy grail of the first round proper; though there are two rounds to negotiate yet.
I think it could be a bit of a nail biter but I think we will win 3-2.
COME ON YOU YELLOWS.

I echo your final sentence, Frankie! With £7,500 and a place in the final qualifying round up for grabs, the stakes are getting higher. Sutton are hoping that Walton & Hersham's recent wobble in form turns them into jelly this afternoon. ;D

Whereas I have have yet another afternoon off. CAFC decided to, as usual, fall at the first hurdle some time back. Have spent a good time with the youngest at the park, Mrs is away tonight so curry and a bottle of red. Hard life, innit?

Not a very good performance by town and the pre-match nerves gave way to post match drinking and I'm now suffering like a dog.

I ended up at Tamuff, but according to my Stourbridge supporting mate the game was "Absolutely f**k**g awful".

It wasn't the best of games. The highlight was in the second half under the tin shed when I was banging the drum and singing/shouting/chanting and my mate was giving it some on the trumpet. Then three stewards moved in on us in a "pincer movement" but realized there was no harm in us and melted away into the emptiness of the stand. ;D

It's hard to chuckle when you're in pain.
