A city of Guildford's size deserves football at a higher level than the Combined Counties League, and moving to a better-appointed ground would be a big step in the right direction. (It can't be much fun being looked down on from a great height by Woking. ) It's interesting that the article mentions Dartford's Princes Park ground as a model. Some of us have watched Ryman League football there recently. It's concrete proof that not all new stadia need be characterless grey boxes.

It'll need to be idiot proof as well if Ash United ever come to play... Re. the article - It's about time we pushed for something again, and I think we have a much better chance with the ideas we have this time. We shall see, small steps at a time. Although I hear that the Guildford City spokesman quoted in that article is a very handsome chap!
