And more... Former Eastbourne Borough forum moderator Nigel Hammond's superb Leicestershire club directory - www.fossefootball.co.uk/ - complete with top quality audio when you move the mouse over the navigation buttons! ;D But the man you want for a directory of tinpot football grounds is the master himself, David Bauckham. A ground-hopper extraordinaire, his Pyramid Passion site - www.pyramidpassion.co.uk - is pretty well known to most on here I believe. Those not in the know, check out the attention to detail - even the floodlights, tea huts and mowers and rollers have their own sections! It also features virtually every non-league club from the midlands downwards. And while I'm here, quick plug for David's book on Dugouts (I kid you not!) called, rather imaginatively, Dugouts! ( www.pyramidpassion.co.uk/html/dugouts_book.html) The foreward is written by ex-Charlton boss Alan Curbishley, and its received favourable reviews from the Daily Telegraph, the Mail on Sunday and TalkSport, amongst others. His Sussex directory can be found here - www.nomad-online.co.uk/html/club_directory.html.

The most tinpot ground i've been to is Fort William Football Club, officially the worst football club in the uk a few years back, and surprisingly i still have a soft spot for them. My family always look out for their scores even though week in week out it is almost 100% failure each time. I've tried their website but even that isn't working right now!! www.fortwilliamfc.org.uk

The last time I went there they conceded eight (or it might have been nine) against Forres Mechanics.

[Saddo that I am, Pyramid passion is on my "favourites" list. And so it should be Frankie; so it should be. Apart from this fine organ, Pyramid Passion is the greatest testament to Tinpottery on the net. Have communicated with David a few times; he's happy for us to use images from his site on here, in return for the usual accreditation obviously, and he by the way is always happy to receive images of grounds that are yet to be included, together with a little information about the ground in question & the circumstances in which the picture(s) were taken.

Wow! That site should win an award... Can I suggest 'worst web design on the planet'? What is the point of taking the time to assemble all the content and then hide it behind a wall of jizz? Abysmal.

Wow... all this tinpottery has gone to my head. I need to lie down and be quiet for a while.
