In these times of financial prudence and all that sh1te, I thought I should let you all know that my dear Hawks (or the BoDs at least) have frozen the price of season tickets. Again. With due thanks to Rich Self, for I nicked this from the club website; I give you the financial package par excellence!
Hawks HQ have announced a price freeze on adult season tickets for the seventh season in a row, while adult match day entry remains at the £10 mark it has been since August 2007 – putting the Hawks among the cheapest in the league for advance payers.
A season ticket will guarantee entry to all first team league matches, and Portsmouth reserve team matches played at Westleigh Park for the 2010/11 season, and comes in again at £147 for adults, with concessions (Senior Citizens, Students and Children 11-16) at £85. Children under 11 go free as usual, and a family ticket is on offer for £299 which covers ground entry for two adults and two children 11-16.
The club also offer two additional perks which can be added to the above. For an extra £13 per person on any season ticket fans can reserve a seat in the stand, which will be named for them and guaranteed for any league game.
Beyond that, an extra £63 on top of the standard season ticket price per person allows fans exclusive access to the patrons’ lounge between 12.30pm and 5.30pm (6.15pm-11pm evening games), which offers two plasma tv screens and a buffet served before the game.
I get somewhat peeved when other clubs tell us that we have spent all our cup money on bad players, blah blah blah yawn; the club has invested a great deal in things which are less obvious and making is easy for fans to get to games when money is tight is one of these things. Go on- tell me that this isn't great value!!!
