This question will probably be answered best by Mr Ojive. What's the current state of play with Moorlands? A rumour I heard at Darlaston Town yesterday says that Moor Green are looking to merge with Solihull, so is the Moorlands going to be sold off for housing or something? NB: Darlaston Town 3 - 1 Bilston Town After finishing rock bottom last season and nearly going out of business Darlo have bounced back and thoroughly deserved the 3 points in this hotly contested local derby against the league leaders. Waverley Road still has surely the steepest slope in football. As can be seen from this photo, once again culled from David Bauckham's wonderful Pyramid Passion website. Crampons and ropes are provided for the team kicking uphill!

No-one knows, Coops. That rumour has been going around for over a year, now. The local council (Birmingham) want us back home as the facilities for sports in the area are dire and my belief is that they would move hell and high water to succeed, they'd like to see a sports village developed on the site and even the local residents want us back. The club is now owned lock, stock and barrel by the Chairman, there is another director, but in name only, as the articles of association precludes single ownership. Needless to say we are being kept totally in the dark, no doubt due to commercial confidentiality . The commercial and PR sides of the club are so badly run that one wonders whether we will ever attract enough punters to make it worth the chairman's while to continue (He'll never recoup the approx £800,000 he has 'invested' in the club). In the local Sunday Mercury last week there were short pieces on every local club involved in the FA Cup - except ourselves! We have a good team playing good football, most of the time, and an average gate of around 200.
