Today. Unfortunately, I can't see Hucknall winning at Barwell, indeed, we'll do well to get a draw. If that were to be the case at least I'd get to see the replay as I'd be on the right shift. WE'RE 'UCKNALL TOWN AN' WE'RE GONNA WIN YA NEVER GONNA KEEP US DOWN.

Congratulations to Guildford City for their 1-0 win at Tonbridge Angels! That result helped to sweeten the bitter pill of Sutton's defeat to Alton Town. You see, we don't really get on with Tonbridge.

We have yet to join in! Cos we is top drawer... ;D Home to Frome this Saturday; shame - the away trip would have had BEANO written all over it. Another team we have yet to meet coming to us rather than teh other way around. Mind you, with my lot a replay is a distinct possibility I am boycotting Lowestoft. They were awfully beastly to my friends at Desborough in the 1st qual. Dessie's coach bles up en routs; took an hour to get a replacement - regular notifications to the home team and officials... Arrive late (Duh! Obviously) Ref; ok lads, 20 minutes, want to get under way. They were treated like a true pub team! Less time to warm up and prepare than any bl00dy pub team I ever turned out for too - changed, warmed up, prepared, kicked off - all in 20 minutes. Net result? 2 - 0 down immediately, 6 - 0 at half time. Drew the 2nd half 1 - 1. Stoft website had the cheek simply to say that Desborough were totally outclassed... Players and officials were ignored at half time (provision of refreshments) and also at full time; though I promise you, nobody was in the mood to stay on anyway. With the delays and travelling, a 14 hour day. I know the club didn't expect to win, but to be treated like sh1te? Nah. Not on in my book.

Good man bh, but just what is the point of this? Surely the club that mobilises the most voters will win? Is there any normalisation of votes? I suspect not. Two tickets to the FA Cup Final to whang on ebay as well. Would prefer a prose-based compo.
