As whenever we go there our players seem to lose their cool, we've been there 6 times as AFCTU and had a player sent off in 5 of them.
2005/06 - Blyth 1-1 Telford Glenn Tolley sent off in the first half for a bad challenge but Kyle Perry equalises for Telford within the dying minutes of the game, much to the anger of The Swamp.
2007/08 - Blyth 1-2 Telford No players sent off this game and we actually won at Blyth! Jimmy Turner with the winner.
2008/09 - Blyth 2-0 Telford Martyn Naylor earns straight red for 2-footed lunge near the end following a midweek trip up to Blyth. With the scoreline already 2-0 at this point there was no real impact.
2009/10 (FA Cup) - Blyth 0-0 Telford Gavin Hurren sent off for violent conduct lining up for a corner, right decision though replays suggest Robbie Dale was lucky to stay on for Blyth given his initial atatck instigated the whole thing. In a rare example of a spirited performance that season Telford hold out for 0-0 and take Blyth to a replay, Telford recording a comfortable 4-0 win at the New Bucks Head on a Tuesday night.
2009/10 (League) - Blyth 4-0 Telford Sean Evans sent off late on for a stamp on a Blyth player... no comment on the scoreline!
2010/11 - Blyth 3-0 Telford Phil Trainer earns 2 bookings in the same minute right near the end. First for a foul on a Blyth player, then for saying something stupid to the ref when walking away. Telford dominated early proceedings this Tuesday but following a Blyth goal against the run of play Blyth grew in confidence and there was no way back.

Maybe your players just hate Blyth.

We can actually go one better this year in that Giggy's "Blyth curse" has struck Stafford Rangers before we even get anywhere near the place. In the defeat at Harrogate on Tuesday we had both Levi Reid and Craig McAughtrie sent off, meaning that they will be suspended when we travel to guess who? Why Blyth Spartans of course! Blyth has rarely been a happy hunting ground for us, either, having being dumped out of the Trophy by them for the last 2 seasons running and 3 times in all in addition to the lost league games up there. Yet the one time when i really, really, really wanted Blyth to win and take Chasetown down a peg or two they go and bloody lose!!! Bar-stewards!! As for travails of AFCTU, maybe the refs up there are just wiser to the fouling, moaning, cheating, diving antics of Dirty Telflon....

Telford players just can't handle the North Sea air - it either drives you crazy or makes you one cool customer - like me

Hey Mr Blyth - it's been a while! Hi Mrs Sutton ;D Someone mentioned you on the Conference North forum which reminded me to come back on here and have a look You do realise in a few years time Sutton United will probably end up in the Conference North?

Ha ha! Right! Actually, we'll be in the Conference East. We had a discussion on the South forum about what would happen if it were split E-W rather than N-S, and the answer turned out to be "not a lot." south.ytfc.com/south.mpl?id=284388Interestingly enough, despite your lot being on the East coast, a purely longitudinal E-W split would put you in the Conference West. Who mentioned me on the North forum, out of curiosity?

Apparently, I look like Rachel Stevens. I can kind of see the resemblance now that you mention it I've been likened to Eric Cartman, I was not impressed by that comparison.

No, that likeness doesn't work for me. You're not a Cartman.
