Ohhh, as I will be on home turn, Hawky, you name your date!!
I believe that you have a large advantage from your home leg, perhaps you might accept the challenge of a game of my home sport? Darts? ;D

Darts... The safest place to stand, should we attempt darts, is in front of the round thing with numbers on it ;D I am completely Daewoo when it comes to darts - but yeah, we can try! I might actually hit the 20 once. Or twice if I am on a roll Does this pub have some good beers??

The Morgan in Malvern, the only pub I know with the red round things, the long stick and the mushrooms, has a fine selection of beers, mainly from the Wye Valley range, and I must introduce you to, even for a man of my direction, the irresistible Dorothy Goodbody! All situated a steady 3 minute walk from Great Malvern railway station Funny you should mention being Daewoo when it comes to darts. When my little brother wants to play, he'll normally say "Daewooll can you lift me up so I can play daaarts?"

Indeed!
According to my list here, Dorothy appears to have at least 9 sisters! Some of whom turn up merely for special occasions - but all seem worth a punt ;-)
I bet, with or without being elevated, your little brother could beat me at darts too...

Looks like it's gone very quite on here again. Hmmm, are message boards losing their charm? The Sutton one seams to still be well used, what about other clubs?
What about other Forums such as TT. I know very little about these things, are people still avid users, or is usage waining?

I'm considering doing a plug for TT on other forums so people know we exist, but I don't really want to go around spamming! what do you people think - is it acceptable to mention it on club/league forums?

To get more users we need to give people a reason for visiting this site. The internet is a crowded place these days with huge numbers of sites (including many about non-League football) jostling for attention.
In the past TT offered something different and distinctive (whimsy and wit in a non-confrontational setting) which is why it attracted certain people. But it's gradually lost that USP. It would be great to recreate it, but I'm struggling to think how. Maybe it needs a small group of us to make a REAL effort.

But therein lie the problems , Mr aleman. 1) There only IS a small group of us, these days. 2) It would need a real effort. Forums need to flow naturally and this tends to happen more easily with the boards where everyone follows the same team / league etc. This just doesn't seem to happen anymore here. Heaven knows i've struggled to get something, anything, up on here but it just seems so contrived at times. We cover everything and nothing at the same time, so we end up as neither a football forum or a chat forum and our type of humour, which seemed to flourish in the early 2000's when we seemed to have people the length and breadth of the country has gone out of vogue. We used to get "blocks" of people from one club or another coming on, but the Southport, Tamworth, Kettering and Guildford have all gone, leaving basically a Sutton block (half of whom seem to have dropped out), plus me as regulars with one or two other lone voices putting in the odd appearance. That's not enough to keep things flowing. Maybe fashions will turn again but most of what we did in the old days seems to go on in Facebook these days. This board will probably drift on until ambersalamander settles down, starts a family and no longer has the time to keep things running. Then it'll just go quiet like Radio Luxembourg did.

I already lack the time to keep things running. At least when I have kids I might find a spare five minutes here and there while the baby's asleep...
