The number of new posts on Tinpot Terrace has sadly dwindled during 2011. I've been as guilty of neglect as anyone else. It would be a great shame if TT were to die, as I think it offers a friendlier and rather special alternative to other non-League forums. So would those who feel the same way resolve to start some new threads for the New Year? There must be plenty of topics out there to spark discussion, debate or general silliness. We can all start thinking of ideas now. Five years ago this forum was buzzing with funny and intelligent posts. Let's see if we can get some of that back.

Spot on as usual AA. Strange that everyone has seemed to give up posting on here. I suppose it depends on free time. If so I am one of the guiltiest as I have more spare time than the vast majority who used to post.
Up until recently I would pop in and see if there had been anything new posted on here, but most of the time nothing.
In the past there have been some wonderful threads; such items as the kind that brought memories flooding back to me of times past, and the people involved in those times. Now a days I need a jolt to enable me to remember anything from the past, so those kind of were a real enjoyment to me.
I shall try to post more often. Working at the football club as I do will surely provide some stories.
The people I really know who were regulars on here are of course Sutton supporters. I should know the Carshalton lads, but when I attend our matches I normally stay with my friends. The reason I mention about these people is that I know they've all got interesting things to post about.
AA, is the resident real ale expert, followed closely by Sal and Medi, not to mention at least one of the Robins supporters. I'm sure there could be a lot of mileage in that subject alone. Sal may have given up cycling to all U's away matches, but now instead of that, she does things like dashing up to Edinburgh to watch Hearts play (this may be something to do with l**e, but I think she may be a closet Jambo) then dashed back to watch her beloved U's at Borehamwood!! What an adventure!!
There you are, a post straight off the top of my head. I'm sure everyone who has posted on here in the past can come up with some of the same kind of drivel.

I could retell some tales from L2, but there's little to tell and we're likely to back in the Conference next season unless we improve rapidly.
Anyway, our next home match is weeks away so I may pop down to GGL before long.

Plenty of games coming up at GGL, including the delights of our SSC game against Godalming!! Don't forget this is a bit of a grudge match as we lost in the final to them a couple of years ago! Look forward to seeing you Meadow, and may have the chance to spend a bit more time with you.

I resolve to soundly thrash Daza at Bar Billiards while sober - and then again while pissed. :-) On his home turf and all....
Nowt to do with the forum ackcherly - but posting here has a sort of comfy, threadbare slipper feel to it and I miss it. So I will also resolve to post a complete bile of pollocks weekly and more. Thrice weekly if I can get said pollocks to exude! ;-)

;D
Word play is wholesome fun! Sadly, stuff like that gets lodged and then whispers at me when it really should not... It;s probably the collective disgruntlement of a shoal when confronted with a net... ;-)
But scribe it I shall. I have already started. Daza, when do you want that game??
