Can I just say that Merstham 1-0 Walton Casuals was the dullest 90 minutes that I have endured this season. So dull, I found my way to the food hut on three separate occasions!

It can't have been as dull as Thurrock v Sutton, two teams seemingly devoid of any real attacking ambition. Our 85th minute winner was our 1st shot on target.
Talking of tea bars, I regret making the mistake of using Thurrock's again. It wasn't a bad tasting burger, I just feel ill. This happened to me after my last trip to Ship Lane.

Our 85th minute winner was also barely across the line. It was definitely across, but got nowhere near the actual net. It seemed to fit that we barely scraped a win, and did that by barely scoring the game's only goal.

He was almost as bad as the game itself

Due to my habit of not getting up early on Saturdays I missed the trip to Thurrock. I took in our reserves game against Eastbourne which we entertainingly won 5-0!
