I think for the moment we're quite happy puttering along as we are, but you'll be the first to know! Some of our fans have already managed a small private merger

We're merging with Kiddy soon
It'll be the 'Worcester City' part of our name and the 'Football Club' half of theirs.
The Blue half of our kit and the white half of theirs.
etc etc

I must say the shock when I saw this thread left me dumbstruck!! Not another club done the pan. Sorry to Stephen, unbelievable, a team with great tradition losing it's identity, oh no. At least the new team is playing at Hayes. As for other recent merges, what about suttbourne??

Nah. don't fancy the long distance thing too much My reliable source of information said that Hayes were already selling their ground as the more valuable site, and that the considerable amount of money raised would go towards developing The Warren

apparently I've heard two Staffordshire teams are merging. The rumour is that the first part of Hednesford's name will be used and the second half of Stafford's name will complete the name of the new club: Hednes & ford sorry I forgot to add: etc etc

Some of our fans have already managed a small private merger mmmm, Hannah merger To be honest i think i've already found the only nice thing we could hope to gain from the lesser side of the borough so there's no need to consider anything more ;D ;D

Just to let people know: I doubt i'll be on the non-league circuit from next season. People can shout and scream at me as much as they like but the team I've supported for over 10 years is no more. I'm a Hayes man through and through so by default I can't support a team that includes another region outside of the town of Hayes in the first place. This merger has seriously screwed my head

At first glance that seems a bit drastic, but then it's not my club doing the merging. You must do as you feel of course, but aren't you just a bit tempted to at least give it a go, see how it feels?

Don't give up, as nobody else has tried this yet might I suggest following the mighty Dorch next season Will we be great, will we be sh*t, nobody knows! It's what makes them so supremely frustrating. As a Hayes man you've got to appreciate that!!
