I have been dissapointed too many times in the past by big bucks rumours to get too excited yet. What IS interesting this time round is that Blue Square released our season winning odds as 40/1 (a little reasonable imo based on last season) but the very next day it's suddenly slashed to 12/1. Inteeeeresting methinks. Oh man if you'd heard some of the silly rumours of potential signings that have been bandied around the club

Just remember Matt. Too many big signings = loss of Tinpot status. Tinpot is cuddly and friendly. Big names and splash-the-cash equates to the social acceptance afforded to Borg or Boston.... Nah! You's guys are too civiloized to get conceited.

I hope so. We made too many jokes at Eastleigh's expense to turn out like them. Cue the little muppets who follow us making social faux pas comments all season long! Story I heard was of half the squad being full-time. Hopefully Chris Pugsley will be a bit more on the ball after experiencing first hand the debacle at Weymouth and we'll be fine.
Still, nothing is finalised yet so it could still be rubbish. Pretty certain it's not though so I am waiting for newbies signing for us with baited breath. Preferably ones I've heard of too - without having to add "oh sh*t" afterwards!

Tres' dull at the moment tbh. Money man is property 'tycoon' Eddie Mitchell. Apparently a Premiership coach is also coming down Dorchester way to bolster our training though no names have been released yet (that can be relayed anyway ). We can't spend anything until the 11th June because that's when the board are holding an AGM to increase shares by a supposedly large amount! Boo to no spending yet though. We're reportedly spending much of the cash on creating decent training facilities and a bit of marketing on the club itself but how true that is is another matter. Half the squad is meant to be going full-time though so I'm guessing the wage budget to at least be doubled for next season. On another note we've offcially lost Justin Keeler which is very sad. That's another position we need to fill now. If I ever get any actual facts (la-de-dah) then I may post them too. Currently it's all wot my mates told me - though they are reliable.
