Right Tinpot cup where you're nearly all out of it before we get to join in.

STALYBRIDGE CELTIC v BLYTH SPARTANSBASINGSTOKE TOWN v HAMPTON & RICHMOND BOROUGH Three way match, I reckon once we combine ours and Basingstoke's strengths we'll piss over the over two.

Does that mean if we get to the 3rd round we have to play against ourselves somehow? I've seen the draw spomewhere, we've got Nuneaton or Worcester (Match H) at home if we get that far. Should we get through the first 3 rounds we're at home for all of them. In the Unibond Cups we onl ever played 1 game away (at Leek Town), we only had 10 men by the end due to an injury when we were out of subs. Finished 2-2 and we then went into the longest penalty shootout we've been involved in for quite a while, all of our players scored (including our reserve goalkeeper who wa playing that day.) before we finally lost 11-10. We were all suspicious as to if there was a reason why we kept ending up at home, we never went away in the Unibond Cups for our first 2 seasons. I didn't complain though, it was easier for me to get to.

Oi! Doh; it was only a little mistake - added to which, if you read around the boards, there's more than a suspicion that the word "Draw" could be interpreted as also meaning "Method by which a series of pre-determined and local contests are created before we have to make the thing random and national!"

"You can only beat the team what's in front of you..." [And you spelt "D'Oh!" wrong. ;D It's never been ironed out, as far as I'm aware, but I suspect it's the product of an early intervention from Marge - where Homer used to say 'damnation', but was told to curtail the curse, and say "Oh!" That's my theory, anyway. ]

Apparently (in the earlier series atleast, not sure about now) in the scripts you won't find the word "D'Oh". They had just written 'disgruntled grunt' or something to that effect, the voice actor said "D'Oh" and it's carried on from there.
That's what they said on a programme where they interviewed the voice actors from The Simpsons atleast.
