I've just received this email from a Civil Service colleague who has the misfortune to support Slough Town:

Sutton United seem to doing much better than Slough Town - relegated last season, no points this, goalkeeper didn't turn up for our FA Cup game!!

Tinpot - or really rather sad? To think that Slough once finished as runners up in the Conference! They don't even have their own ground these days.


PS this is my 666th post on TT - the number of the Beastleigh ;D
