We managed a 2-0 win today, AFC Telford United 2-0 Lincoln United.
Played ok in the first half, were excellent in the second, really could have been 5 or 6 up if we'd capitalised more on our chances.
First goal scored by Indie Khela, Second was almost his also; keeper saved it but knocked it into thier own defender for a own goal. Happened to me as the keeper in PE on Thursday is the sad thing.
Up to 15th in the league now, looking good on staying up now. ;D

We had a rather comfy 3 - 0 against Yeading. One nil up at half-time, thanks to a somewhat generous penalty; and to make things easier the keeper dived way too early. Second half, one way traffic and two more goals - one a first for someone who's been due a goal all season; Shea Saunders, who's a busy young midfielder, well overdue a break. The second was scored by Craig Watkins, who signed earlier in the week having been released by Exeter. Both good goals, by very promising youngsters. Was, as someone said - a good day at the office. Up one place to 5th, back in the play-off places and another home game on Monday. Could be third; for 24 hours anyway!

So... Another Salisbury fan then? You are more than welcome, but please don't let us all down by going on a losing streak. We've been bigging-up the potential for a good day out at your place when you get into the Conf Couth next season -

1-1 with Stortford Played much better, actually had some shots on goal and good chances, probably deserved the win. We were unlucky to go 1-0 down just after half time, our keepers first mistake in a while. Still, we battled away and equalised with an 88th minute penalty won by Matt a few minutes after Bishop Stortford went down to ten men courtesy of their captain hitting Matt Gray, which led to a big ruck and general fracas, after he was sent off he still tried to go for a Sutton player on his way off! Brought on Glenn Boosey for Peter Fear towards the end too and he really helped us get at them. If we'd had a minute or two more at the end i'd say we would have won Quite pleased, a good point and something to build on for Lewes on Wednesday night. Who themselves drew 0-0 with Thurrock so they aren't going to be mega confident and hopefully we can get a result. Oh yeah, one of the Havant goalscorers, Craig Watkins, used to be at Sutton before he went to Exeter so expect to hear of him scoring against Sutton in our return fixture with H&W...

We've been bigging-up the potential for a good day out at your place when you get into the Conf Couth next season - Well if we play like we did yesterday in all our remaining games, like Dave and Malx will tell you....................we'll end up missing the playoffs. We've now taken 4 points out of 15 from my calculations - not league winning form. Tuesday is another day, another battle in the big war........but its getting squeeky bum time - but you can't become a bad side overnight. We have to win our 4 in hand to ensure that we open the gap back up to 8 or 9 points. The silly thing is that both us and chippenham have let the others back in....even they lost yesterday. Bath and Kings Lynn are now the form sides and we have to play them both (Bath at home and Lynn away)

Gained a point away at 2nd in the table Nuneaton with a 93rd minute equalizer. It was well deserved aswell.

Thanks for that, Frankeigth. It was an excellent result for us, too, keeping Nuneaton 6 points behind us when it could have been cut to 4.

I know there's still a quarter of the season left but, I think the title is yours to lose now. Nuneaton are nowt to shout about. Anyone not in the know would have struggled to say which team was 2nd in the league and which was mid-table on Sat'day Sultan.

Oh! Sultan, old chap. I think it's important that we here and now introduce a new Tinpot convention: That, in order to prevent that slight Holier Than Thou kind of smugness occasionally demonstrated by the odd Tamworth fan (And let's face it; some of them are a tad strange ; ) we remember publicly and frequently that all clubs were created equal, and through good grace, fortune and hard work, some of them do from time to time enjoy a kind of superior equality to the majority! I shall, of course follow this credo, should we sneak up through the play-offs, as should our friends from the Olympic sailing village down the coast ;D This convention should be applied throughout the Pyramid. This is where I should point out that, as nobody in real life takes me very seriously at all - this too is to be interpreted as a teeny little joke! You may now chortle gently.

That, in order to prevent that slight Holier Than Thou kind of smugness occasionally demonstrated by the odd Tamworth fan . I think you'll find it's Conference Arrogance dear chap, you are given compulsary lessons in it by Exeter and Hereford fans once promotion is confirmed, you'll soon get the hang of it IF you come up.
