The dream was alive for a period today - but alas it didn't end out in the way I wanted. If yer not in it - you can't win it!

Couldn't you have at least salvaged some of your stake money by having an each way bet? ;D Before the game, the Hawks manager was telling them to really go for it so they would not be coming off with "what might have beens." They certainly exceeded expectations. These are the memories that you cherish, that no-one can take away. Yesterday the Tinpot community, no matter which team we support, was effectively the Hawks community. To mix cliches, Havant & Waterlooville have been the breath of fresh air that breathed new life into the FA Cup, the shot in the arm that gave it the kick in the pants it needed. Fantastic!

I've just watched it on MOTD this morning with a big grin on my face. A fantastic performance. Well done Hawks, you did non-league football proud yesterday. ;D

Also watched it on match of the day, it was a proud day for non-league football. There are premiership teams who would love to take the lead twice at Anfield and full-time players who would jump at the opportunity to score at Anfield.
A match which I'm sure will live long in the memories of Havant & Waterlooville's fans, players and management alike.

An outstanding achievement from the "Hawks". Well done to all concerned.
Spend the "windfall" money wisely and ya could be in the conference national PDQ.

Arguably THE FA Cup performance and story of Anno Domini 2008. Definitely a slice of history which will be mentioned annually for some time to come!
