The first game I ever went to (in 1982)was vs Curzon Ashton. We won 1-0 ;D They're currently looking quite good for promotion so we may get to play them next season. Provided, of course that we can claw our way out of the bottom 3, possibly at the expense of North Ferriby. (Windiest place on earth I'm told)

north ferriby? ? I like North Ferriby United, first team we played in a league game after reforming (finished 2-2)and both got promoted that season, missed our visit to Ferriby though. Were in the same league for the next couple of years after that and I made both visits. Lovely village, brilliant scenery, great people. Probably my favourite all round place to visit last season. It's like Whitby in the way when you get there rather than go straight into the ground you want to go for a walk and have a look around, maybe even talk to a few people - and I'm not normally very sociable. Frickley I will admit is an odd place, was nicer last year after they began a regeneration project in the area and atleast half the houses were habitable. Year before that though when on the way out we noticed almost every house was boarded up and/or burnt out; with the occasional house in the middle where the lights were on and someone was living there - slightly scary.

I've never had the pleasure (or otherwise) of visiting the Millenium Worldwide Stadium.

I like North Ferriby United I absolutely love North Ferriby. In 1989 we went up there in the FA Vase semi-final having lost the first leg 2-1 at The Lamb, we thought we had no chance but 1500 of us trekked up there anyway, they had to build a temporary scaffold stand for us, bloody hell that was scary when we scored the winner! Mark Stanton, forever a hero.

Well, we've now got our trip to Lewes confirmed for next season to go with Kettering.
Wrexham will be as good as down if they lose tomorrow, and it looks like coming down to a last day winner takes all clash between Dagenham and Mansfield.
Blue Square North play offs? My preference would be Stalybridge. Had a couple of memorable FA Trophy games with them a couple of seasons ago, including an epic midweek trip for the replay (which we won 1-0 - we were a leage below them at the time), and would like to do it on a saturday/weekend.
Southern Play Offs - quite fancy Hampton for some strange reason. An easy enough trip whether saturday or midweek and I'd look forward to reading the reaction of our league's big boys when faced with the tinpottedness of it.

Nooooooooo! Our game at their place was postponed when the travelling faithful were halfway up the M6, the rearranged midweek game was abandoned due to rain after about an hour, and the rearranged, rearranged midweek game took place last week. I'm afraid there's not much love lost between the keyboard warriors of Barrow and KTFC. That would be the last team many of us would like to go up. Most bets are on Stalybridge (good for beer) and Southport (make a seaside weekend of it).
