While messing about trying to publicise this squeaky clean, shiny new venture it has become apparent that there's a lot that can be done with colours and stuff on these forums - with, it must be said scary results if some of those I've seen have been indicative of the majority.
Before anyone here goes daft and changes everything to, for example pink & brown, a la Corinthian Casuals, or navy & pink like Dulwich Hamlet, or - heaven forbid Chocolate & amber...
What would you like??
No combination too ridiculous to be considered.
We could even leave things as they are, but the forum does look like a new Barratt home - magnolia everywhere and no imagination in sight.

choccy brown and light blue actually looks quite good.
Failing that something with a slighty darker grey background perhaps and another choice colour?

Phew! For a minute I thought we were going to be treated to a discussion on..ahem...women's problems!
Saying that, red would be a nice colour.

I did ponder, ever so ever so briefly about that - but, let's face it. It aint exclusively a female problem is it Not when you're on the receiving end anyway

White's a good colour to represent something new.
I also like the colour blue personally.
Avoid too many bright colours together as it would look tacky.

Which, strangely enough, Giggster, is what we have! Been trying to go all psychodelic- had a darn good crack at it this afternoon in fact and succeeded in turning the Admin pages an interesting shade of orangey-magnolia- something or other Sadly, only I & Amber can see these - and the magic wand / paint brush doesn't appear to work on other areas. Yet

We've since discovered that it HAS worked, but you still have the choice yourselves! Go to your Profile, click Modify Profile, and pick any one of the exciting redecoration options! Psychedelic Badgers are certainly not for the faint-hearted Don't worry- I'll do a pink themed one for the benefit of our Weymouth fans

A "Yuck!" skin has been created for the benefit of our Sutton United fans, who are used to it and therefore immune to its vomit-inducing properties. There is also now a "Weymouth" skin. Do not choose it. (unless your name is terratony or uptheterras ;D)

Do not choose it. (unless your name is terratony or uptheterras ;D) For future reference. It's probably best, when designing a forum, to determine the colour scheme while still sober. Having said that, it's probably also a good idea to let someone else do it whatever state the synapses are in! (In this case, AmberSalamander - who's creative enough for a whole bag of fora!) ;D
