I'll start one again for next season if people want it. Unfotrunately I can't tell you who actually won the final round, I went on to do the scores and it was gone, looks like we'll never know. I was going to make a small website to cover what has happened over the Portal Predictions season, would anyone acuse me of cheating if I left the table as it is currently (with me in joine first)?* *Please not I had nothing to do with the closure, I wanted to break the tie at the top of the table as much as anyone did.

Bless him.
Giggy, I don't think anyone would ever suspect you of hacking a football chat site so you'd win the predictions league!
Let's all remember one thing though.
Please, please don't forget that the majority of people here on TT have probably never even visited Pyramid Portal and might not even know what it is. An excess of Pyramid Portal threads or references would be very unfair and push people out. This forum is not an extension or a replacement of Pyramid Portal. It's just a new forum that some people found they preferred.
Therefore, I request one thing. Please do NOT carry on any Pyramid Portal threads on this forum if you can do them by private message. Start them afresh otherwise. Giggy, starting a new Predictions League here next season would be very welcome.

The new prediction league would be completely separate from Portal Predictions, don't think anyone was meaning to leave others out in the cold with this thread but I was bringing it up for those who asked about the old league. There may be one more post either later today or in a few days time about a website publishing all the results ect but that'll be it from me, I won't mention it again. Any new league will be brand new and for anyone who wants to join in.

Can I assume you'll be giving up TT 'tourism' and the WAG, as they are pretty much rooted in PP history. ;D How about this, petal. People on here say what they want on whatever subject they want, and then the moderators can do their job, removing anything that breaks the board rules. Anyone that doesn't like it can go elsewhere. Those that do like it will hang around. Simple, isn't it?

Oooops! Sorry ladies and gentlemen. Salamander thought processes are not easy to follow. All I said was please don't carry on threads that have started elsewhere- sorry, I forgot to add "without an explanation of what it is," which is what I really meant to say. It doesn't hurt to explain things, e.g. that Pyramid Portal is another non-league chat forum similar to this one, that Joe Poppy is the guy who runs it at a distance, and that WAG stands for "word association game" (presumably) I did say "please" and if people do it anyway I can't do anything about it except chip in to explain things myself, if I can. Starting stuff that's already been done successfully on other forums is great! Introducing people to other forums is also great. Carrying on threads that have been started elsewhere is plain confusing- that's all I meant! Sorry if you misunderstood me; I'm never very good at explaining what I mean

I haven't a clue or even care what you're on about when you start rambling on about carshalton and all that b*ll*cks, but I'm not going to start crying about not being let into your clique, because like most stuff on internet chat boards, it's totally irrelevant to everyday life. PP existed and whether you like it or not people will talk about it. Other people will join in or other people will not join in it's as simple as that, so just let it flow. redwing.hutman.net/~mreed/warriorshtm/nanny.htm

the majority of people on here have never been in a topless carwash How the hell do you know that? For all you know we could all be the directors in some topless carwash business, or we could have won awards (or in some peoples case indecent exposure offences ) for our topless washing of cars? And you just come on here and make that judgement about the majority of the people on this board, without even thinking about it?! Shocked! Appalled! Hurt even!

Too true people will talk about it, I've nothing against PP being mentioned! I loved PP! And even if I did, it wouldn't be my place to say so. I think that was a deliberate misinterpretation, my friend.
You don't have to explain what a topless carwash is because it's obvious from the name. But I'm sure you know that Carshalton and all that b*ll*cks is a football team!
If you reckon I'm being cliquey, sorry, I haven't noticed (sometimes it's hard to tell when you've known some of the people you're talking to for years and others for only weeks). Feel free to let me know if I'm talking so much rubbish that you don't understand ;D
Now, let's stop being silly.

I am all for silliness, and facking around! Do remember that this is Tinpot Terrace - it is used by a number of people who have no connection with any PP - and has its own identity, style and content. That's the way it stays. A prediction league for next season? Fine. This is a football forum after all. Oh. It is MEANT to be an escape fron everyday life. While some of the users know each other, and could pick out some TT'ers from a line-up, most will probably never meet, and prefer it that way. Suspension of reality. I'm all for that as well.
