Trying to revive some good holiday memories by checking which radio stations in Orlando webcast, i've happened upon a guy who has made me laugh this week.
At 740theteam.com , i stumbled across a guy called Dan Scilio (appropriately it sounds like " damn sillyo" on the jingles) and his take on the World Cup. Team USA was "rolled" by the Czechs,"3-love" before tie-ing, "1-love" with the italians. He thought that the US "got hosed by the officiating" which was "brutal". He couldn't believe the "touch fouls" that got US players "red-flagged" during the game. He doesn't know why their second goal was "taken away" but then again, (quote) " I don't know much about sarker." You don't say, Dan!
Dan says that while he will never "carry the bags for the English prim-meer league", he "gets" world cup sarker".
I'm looking forward to hearing what he has to say at 11am our time after the Ghana game. ;D
