Just logged on to the Shepherds Bush Empire website to buy my tickets for tonight's Coheed and Cambria gig (£1.80 box office collection vs. £4.80 by post? No brainer!) and noticed Oceansize were the main support act! Get in! Two kick-ass bands for the price of one. Anyway, there are tickets left, so if you've got 20 notes to burn, you could do a lot worse. Doors: 19:00; Navajo Code (?Who?) 19:45; Oceansize 20:45; Coheed and Cambria 21:35. £15.00 in, plus £1.80 robbery tax for spending your cash online. Just enough left for a swift pint on the way to the show. ;D www.myspace.com/navajocodewww.myspace.com/oceansizeukwww.myspace.com/coheedandcambriawww.shepherds-bush-empire.co.uk/(This message brought to you by the PRA.)

I'd much prefer Hayes Vs Lewes (@ Church Road) at 7:45pm

Told you where the best double bill was in London last night, didn't I? ;D
T'size rocked it, but way over the heads of the emo kids. Sadly, 30 mins is only enough time for four 'size tunes, especially when the close with 10 mins of their 'church suite'.
Co & Ca were pretty impressive too - they managed to spin out one of their tracks with an 8-minute guitar wankfest that totally threw the teen-disco crowd.
I'll blog it on MySpaz at some point...

Really liked the Navajo Code tracks, Oceansize seemed a bit meandering to me but I haven't listened to all of it nor Coheed and Cambria

navajo code have been kicking round the punk scene for a few years now. i may've seen them live but i cant remember....
£15 for a ticket is a frikkin rip off. a band would have to be extra special for me to even consider paying that amount of money.
