Here is the place to post all of those heartfelt Christmas greetings; those drunken ramblings and expressions of undying love for your team, yourself, your significant other - or whatever.
This thread can be the place to "Feel the love in the room!"
So.
From me to you; those who have made interesting, pointless, argumentative or just pertinent contributions to this forum since its inception in February; Happy Christmas.
If you do not celebrate Christmas, then just enjoy the peace and quiet.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night! ;D
Same goes for Boxing Day aswell, unless you're a Hednesford fan. In which case I hope you enjoy your trip to the New Bucks Head, enjoy the game and have a safe journey home, albeit a journey with no points.

Merry Christmas to all and sundry reading this message - season's greetings, everyone. It's been a mad year. I've met several of the regulars on here during the year - Amberaleman , Medibot , ISIHAC (eventually!) ;D, BH , even Jared briefly ! I'm sure I've bumped into others as well, apologies if I've left you off the list. And a special thanks to Ambersalamander - have a great Christmas, say hello to the Farney guys for me and take care. And thank you

Belatedly (I've been whisked away by first martello's family and then my own for Christmassy stuff merry christmas all, or rather I hope you had a good one. I've really enjoyed this forum, although i say it myself and I'm more than chuffed with the success of its first -almost- year. I've made lots of new tinpot friends, especially Stephen, from this forum, and that's the best bit. I have had a bizarre year, and somehow ended up having relationships with other Conference South teams' fans From now on, I shall stick with my Eastbourne (cheers Martello! Loves ya! ) Too late alas, but the answer Daza, my lovely lima bean, to awkward or obviously shaped presents, is to put the thing in a cardboard box. Isn't that right, Eastbourne? You tell him. What did you do in the end, Daza?

Belated Season's Greetings to all Tinpotters/Portallers the whole world over. It's been a bizarre kind of head-in-the-shed year which is coming to its conclusion with me lodging in the spare room of my own house and not really knowing where things will be when/if the smoke clears in 2007. To paraphrase the old Chinese saying "It's been an interesting year."
All the best for the New Year and may your God go with you as dave Allen used to say....

I have had one of "those" years too - though mine has reached a distinctly happy ending. The bit from January to October should be consigned to the smelly dustbin of life. The rest was all rather splendid. As well as being somewhere to park bad jokes, gripes about teams and mutterings about footy Tinpocity; TT is also a group hug type of thing. I wish you well sir. I prefer Pratchett's variation: "May you live in Interesting Times!"

Damn, we were meant to talk about our year?
Mine was a bit rubbish on many, many counts but as i have elected to not bother getting pissed off about anything much any more and do anything that sounds like fun which has resulted in many odd adventures and a few marvellous new friends so despite achieving very little of note it's not been too bad.
It's just nearly all my best mates have had something monumentally exciting happen to them and i just went on silly trips and drank beer.
