Have you tried my Riverside 2008 CD yet? Did it make your ears bleed? Not yet, because I didn't really have anything to play it on...in fact I was planning to add it this evening to the aforementioned iPod, so thank you for reminding me ;D

Have you tried my Riverside 2008 CD yet? Did it make your ears bleed? Not yet, because I didn't really have anything to play it on...in fact I was planning to add it this evening to the aforementioned iPod, so thank you for reminding me ;D So, how much do you hate it? This thread nearly dropped off page 1, so it must be time for some randomness. I have even more obscure rubbish now - up to 1,488 mp3s on my office PC, clocking in at 4 days, 20 hours, 28 minutes and 15 seconds. 01. Hṛṣṭa – "Lime Kiln" [L' Éclat du Ciel Était Insoutenable] 02. Sigur Rós – "Gobbledigook" [Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust] 03. Clutch – "Open Up the Border" [Pure Rock Fury] 04. Porcupine Tree – "The Incident, Part xii: The Séance" [The Incident (disc 1)] 05. IAMX – "Tear Garden" [Kingdom of Welcome Addiction] 06. At the Zoo – "I Just Want to Dance" [Demo] 07. Chroma Key – "Camera 4" [Dead Air for Radios] 08. Boards of Canada – "Turquoise Hexagon Sun" [Music Has the Right to Children] 09. Incredible Expanding Mindfuck – "An Escalator to Christmas" [I.E.M.: 1996-1999] 10. Sufjan Stevens – "Chicago" [Illinois] BottyBoy - Have you got the new PT yet? They are starting their US shows with the full 55 minute run of "The Incident", followed by a second 1 hour 20 minute set, so you should get your money's worth.

This thread really needs a boost.
Just plugged the external drive into the internet PC and finally persuaded Media Monkey to do a shuffle. This is what it came up with.

Honorary mention, Folksmen - Mighty Wind
Next two were Beatles - Penny Lane & Monkees - Randy Scouse Git or Alternate Title if you're sensitive.

Saw them at Hammersmith Apollo as you may recall courtesy of Wally beer fest. New album good, other stuff awwwwwwwesome. Hoping that the new stuff will grow on me over time

I'm still not sure if I want to spend £30 on a PT ticket, but I'd really like to go up to Glasgow in December. I assume the show was good? What did you think to Engineers? The new album is a grower, but it does take time - you have to give it the full 55 minutes rather than dipping in and out. Consequently, I'm probably liking the second disc more, particularly "Flicker" - Barbieri's best work since his days with Japan. Duran Duran - All She Wants Is Underappreciated track from an underappreciated era of Duran Duran's output. 01. Kamchatka – "Breathe" 02. ChinchWoo – "Can't Breathe" 03. God Is an Astronaut – "Dust and Echoes" 04. Brian Eno – "An Ending (Ascent)" 05. Scorpions – "Another Piece of Meat" 06. yellow6 – "Moderna" 07. Little Boots – "New in Town (Golden Filter remix)" 08. dredg – "Stamp of Origin: Horizon" 09. Incredible Expanding Mindfuck – "The Last Will and Testament of Emma Peel" 10. Oceansize – "I Haven't Been The Claw for Ages" [pimp]dredg are playing London on Wednesday. They are very good.[/pimp]

Nice juxtaposition of the first four track names there...a bit grim!

Yeah. I'd only really noticed the first two contradicting each other though. It's interesting how people spot patterns and connections in random sequences.

I think you could include #5 in the pattern as well.
