Doing this "live" out of boredom and for twenty tracks to catch up with you all so not only is this double bubble you get a free comment with every random track.
Tich Gwilym - Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau The one they claimed was Hendrix playing, the media believed them!
Says a lot for Tich's guitar wielding skills. Sadly died in a house fire a couple of years back. Another one for the list of people who would be world famous if they didn't work in Welsh.
Magic Numbers - Let Somebody InBloody hell, forgot i had this! Fat people singing harmonies, lovely.
Supergrass - GraceIt's the 90's, save something for the children!
The Beatles - Here Comes The SunTop tune
Oasis - Champagne SupernovaThe classic cricket club lock-in sing-a-long
Jason Webley - Broken CupSaw him by accident on a rare (apparrently) UK trip alongside Brighton favourites Pob and Wob at the Sanctuary Cafe in Hove and bought a CD. Turned out that he's my friend Jon's favourite accordion player and he still hasn't forgiven me for seeing him and not telling him till after.
The Jam - Eton RiflesAnother one i've had since i got my first mp3 player when i was 15. Not as good as i remembered it.
Pulp - Party HardErm, it's a Pulp song, you can probably guess what it sounds like! Good though.
Kings Of Leon - Talihina SkyWhat a band. One of the best of the 00's or noughties or whatever the feck we decided to call them.
Art Brut - Rusted Guns Of MilanA song about not being able to get it up at the crucial moment. "It doesn't mean that i don't love you, one more try with me above you" followed by a panting chorus of "I know i can, i know i can"
Genius.
Sod Pele, watching a man loudly dancing around the stage singing about erectile dysfunction is far better!
Darren Hayman - Art and DesignOff the Secondary Modern album, random low appeal, high quality indie twaddle. Just what i like. Another one where i just enjoy the persons voice they could sing about anything and i'd listen.
Also the bloke responsible for all those "HEFNER" t-shirts the too cool for school kids wear at gigs and festivals cos of his last/other band.
Maximo Park - By The MonumentNotable for being about a place some tinpotters have been to up in Newcastle. Not a bad tune, second album syndrome pretty absent in this one. Good tune.
The Decemberists - Apology SongAnother band i stumbled over juuuuuuuuust before they got big in the obscure indie circles i wander in. The song is apologising about losing a mates bike. Sweet notion, nice song but then i just really like listening to the bloke singing and their music.
Razorlight - Stumble and FallYes, we know they're not particularly talented and Borrells' a thingy of the highest order but Stumble and Fall is a top pop tune.
Woke up to this most Saturday mornings for ages cos it was part of my brothers little routine for geeing himself up for matche to play this album full blast.
Naturally i ripped this off his copy of the CD
The Cure - Pictures of YouVery good i'm missing x very f**k**g much song.
Emmy The Great - GabrielI may slightly have a crush on this woman
I could listen to her sing for the rest of time and not get bored. Guaranteed to calm me down and destress me whatevers on my mind.
This song is actually about a crush of sorts and is pretty much the only Emmy stuff you can buy at the moment until she gets as big as she should.
Kings of Leon - ArizonaI repeat, i fecking love this band. Best album so far, probably one of my alltime favourites actually and this is another top track.
Darren Hayman - The Pupil Most Likely...to succeed has failed. Slightly depressing for people like me who left Primary School as the great white hope for their teachers and still haven't achieved a thing.
"She knew what she wanted but she didn't know how."
Conversely this is what makes it very motivational
David Bowie - Hang On To YourselfOff Ziggy, good tune and some quality guitar bits.
The Wave Pictures - We Dress Up Like SnowmenMore North London indie pop. Tipped for big things this year but i bought their first CD and downloaded a couple of tracks so they're destined for mediocrity.
