Villains. Because there is a history of fisticuffs between Pompey fans and Millwall fans, we are not to be granted permission by Hants Plod to play the tie at WLP. Our ground is perfectly capable of staging the fixture, but Plod have said thaat they do not want ticketless Millwall fans wandering around Leigh Park... Surely this is what Darwin meant by survivial of the fittest? The solution apparently is to stage the tie at Fratton Park - so the rival fans can kick the cr*p out of each other outside of that venue instead. Monday 13 Nov. 7:45pm KO - come on down chaps! Welcome one and all... Very, very, very disappointed.

Splendid. The more the merrier! As an incentive to join us, there will be a brand new Hawky friend to meet too. And we have been busy rounding up the locals - especially those who watch the reserves at WLP, so the Fratton End SHOULD be busy and noisy on the night.

The 'Havant & Waterlooville Chimes' doesn't quite have the same ring (sorry for the pun), though :-)

Hmm, might be tempted by this tie - especially if there's the prospect of a few beers in Portsmouth beforehand. I can't take the day off like some people, but I could probably get away from the office early afternoon... The downside is returning to London with a trainload of Millwall fans. That might not be too bad if they get a result at Fratton. But if the Hawks' beaks and talons prevail over the Lions' teeth and claws, the atmosphere could be a little ugly.
