well played lads - great way to portray non-league football as a clean, trouble free, family-friendly part of our game In case you don't know what I'm on about - The Barrow gorillas for throwing coinage at the oppo goalkeeper and one of their Neanderthal defenders for landing a left hook on an opponent Newport - I'll let this tell the tale: Click here

I have thus far deliberately avoided mentioning this because it makes me so angry and I don't like being angry on the forum, but I am very, very disappointed that this sort of thing is able to happen at our level of football where smaller crowds ought to reduce the number of idiots per match. What really annoyed me about the Newport game was the fact that certain Newport fans had been reacting very indignantly to concerns voiced by neutrals that they might experience trouble at their game. If this "don't expect violence from us" attitude was widespread amongst their fans then no wonder it happened...

Haven't seen the Barra incident only read about it. Obviously the Welsh economy is on the up if they can go throwin' money about like that. Seriously though, not a good advert for non-league footie is it. The thing is, as you well know Ambersal, when clubs like ours play (what for us) are high profile games all kinds of folk turn up at your teams ground for the one game for the first and last time. I would bet the projectile was thrown by such a kno**ead.

Have to say i did enjoy that bit. Mainly cos i was pretending Tamuff were Sutton, Barrow were Carshiton and the goalscorer was Tony "biggles" Quinton but still... i enjoyed it
