He, along with a fair amount of cash saved us from relegation when we were dead an buried at christmas in the NPL prem. It was his first managerial appointment and he did make some curious team selections. When he left Hucknall we werein a better possition than when he arrived, but he hasn't done a lot anywhere else he's been. As an aside watch out for his Mrs Joanna (I think that's her name). After one particularly poor performance at Watnall road by town this bloke who was 6 foot two if he was an inch shouted across the field "That was f**kin' w*nk Starbuck". No sooner had the words left his mouth than they were replaced by Mrs Starbucks fist. Who's husband later explained, she thought he'd called me a w*nker. Well that's alright then!!! It was so funny to see though. Don't say you've not been warned

that doesnt sound very christian like.
we've been told he saved hucknall from certain relegation. nothing about lots of money being spent in the process. we've been told he kept leigh in the conference on a minute budget. i reckon he'll be sacked by february......

According to one of the free Cannock rags ( Mercury or Chronicle ) Small Town in Cannock will be playing Southern League next season. BTW, like your new green away kit..

tammy fans - we've just signed someone called nathan jackson. whats he like? good enough for the unibond?Depends on what you've employed him for. Driving the team about? Mowing the pitch? Seriously now (a bit of a struggle for me at present), he might be up to that level (sorry if that sounds like 'conference arrogance' it's not meant to be [although with your near neighbours getting there I guess you're gonna have to get used to it]). He certainly wasn't anywhere near Conference National standard (although to put it in perspective neither were a lot of our 'players' last season).
