I think you did, my darling. As it's usually me who does birthdays, I apologise unreservedly for being in a silly little village with no internet access until yesterday afternoon, and for not logging on until today Hope you had a good one!

for forgetting my birthday ;D ;D yesterday. Ah-he-hmmmm (clears throat politely...) AND mine AND (though she seems to have gone) Roofless's on Wednesday! Being as you ask, we had a nice little celebration here, with, of course, a scaled down number of candles on my SquareBob Spongepants cake for fear of setting off the smoke alarm. Mrs Sultan bought me a nice new mop! ;D (Having just read that back, it makes it sound as though Roofless was in attendance here, when in fact she was not. It was just me, the delectable Mrs Sultan, "Smalldude" my son and my pet goldfish, Fishy )

Happy Birthday all anyway - I make no apology as I was in the best pub in the Connie North yesterday - The Station bar in Stalybridge.

I too had a fab birthday complete with the new Elbow album, shirts, books (italian detective stories) walking trousers and other stuff that I've forgotten as I have senior days now, instead of senior moments. My eldest daughter arrived from Cardiff, along with my mother-in-law (she used to be so annoyed that before we got married three years ago I used to refer to her as The Outlaw ;D). Went for a fabulous meal at one of our favourite Italian restaurants where they will happily allow you to practice your italian (unless you get the Rumanian waitress who just looks at you blankly). This was after our game at Alfreton which was a 0-0 draw, but a point is a point is a point. All in all a good day was had by all, many thanks for all your kind wishes ;D ;D ;D. PS. No need for an apology, I didn't sign on on my birthday, either .

Is the new Elbow album any good? I'm waiting for it to be delivered at the moment. I like Elbow.

Wow... automatic trousers. The innovation of modern labour-saving devices...

Is the new Elbow album any good? I'm waiting for it to be delivered at the moment. I like Elbow. I asked for it on the strength of hearing one track - Grounds for Divorce - but the rest of it sounds a bit Pink Floydy to me and although I fit into their timescale, apart from the odd track, I'm not really a Pink Floyd fan. Wow... automatic trousers. The innovation of modern labour-saving devices... Silly Girl

I hate Pink Floyd. Utterly detest them. I have several mates who love them and have tried to get me into them for years but it ain't gonna happen. This includes getting me into some states that would make me more, ahem, receptive to them.
