Sat 29th July - Scott Bevan Benefit Match at The Lamb, teams TBC but one of them is a combined Soap Opera XI I believe. Tinpot Tour for an excellent cause anyone? Coops had this on the pre-season thread. Would be, at the very least, an opportunity for some of the Southerly-Midland-not-at-all-North people to get together. Thinking Worcestcester, Moor Green, Kettering, Stafford - you know, places North of London A day out at The Lamb. Marvellous

Cheers ISIHAC, now why didn't I think of putting this in the cleverly named "Tinpot Tours" forum?
BTW, kick off is 1:30 pm.

Unfortunately I'll be being pretentious in Tuscany but someone will text me with the result of our game against the 'muff(divers) the following day at Damn Sod Park.

As the thus far arranged pre season fixtures go, it is a free Saturday for Sutton which means i'll be there in Tamuff. Unless we get a fixture arranged in the coming months it should be ok.

I have responsibilities for our Supporters' Trust launch day (I'll call it a tinpot tour later- watch this space as they say) . Where the hell are you launching them to, Amber?

Unless we get a fixture arranged in the coming months it should be ok. You seriously think the club isn't trying to arrange a fixture for that date right now?! My money's on Walton & Hersham

I'd love to join you but I'll be in Ljubljana on the 29th.
For the record, I have been to the Lamb Ground before (October 2003, Tamworth v Aldershot). Drinking in the Albert was quite civilised.

There will be a press release from TFC regarding the Scott Bevan benefit game later this week.
Given that Scott signed for Kiddy without telling anyone at TFC, I suspect they will call it off. How can you have a benefit match for someone that won't be there?
(Remember TFC paid his wages for the rest of the season after his injury, even though he was non-contract at the time. Can't see anyone at TFC being overjoyed by recent events.)

Blimey, you overspill don't half pick 'em, what with Nick what's his name (now at Worcester) that raised thousands to pay for cancer treatment when he didn't have cancer, but a broken heart and now Scott Bevan. Jeez, you ought to rename the club Soft Touchworth
