Can't remember many fans saying the first seriously, combination of a loud minority and more common these days tongue-in-cheek comments about said loud minority. We don't need to talk about the second, we already know we have a large home/away following and are used to outnumbering home fans on occasion. You actually hear this more from other teams commenting on us. Though £5000 is a lot of money it's only be spent on two players who were actually worth it. I know a conference north team who spent that total amount on one player who hardly ever played for them and was let go for free - no offence intended to Worcester, Stanley got injured at just the wrong time and never made it into your squad afterwards. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hednesford Got to say I found the opening of this amusing, particularly "Hednesford is a small town in Staffordshire." Thought that was quite strange you'd start out with that mate!

Right. To get this back on topic! There's a few - well, three actually, pictures of the gathering at Amber Palace, for the ceremonial opening of a bottle or three! Here..... [ftp]<SCRIPT SRC="http://share.fotopages.com/share/?type=8&id=1012800&size=3&layout=2"> </SCRIPT> [/ftp] Please use the second of the two links. I am forty-something, IT literate to a point and sometimes things don't quite work as I'd like them to! You'll be taken to a new page and can expand the pictures - if you can stand it. For fun, there's no names added. Therefore, as I took the pictures, no prizes for guessing that I'm not actually in them! As to who is...??

Oh don't we look cute! I like the one where I'm reaching for the beer and everyone else is drinking tea! apart from medibot, who won't touch the stuff. I'm not entirely sure what martello is doing to me in the first one, but nobody else looks amused!

What you‘ve tried to use there Hawkie was HTML where infact on Forums like this you need to use BBcode. [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBCode]Bbcode[/url]

Unfortunately...I never photograph well, whatever anybody else might say (and no, that isn't just an inevitable attempt at modesty, I really don't...am either not smiling or grinning like a doofus). I also look about 13. I'm not!

Congrats to Stephen for managing to be snapped smiling in each of the photos! I'm not sure why Medibot looks so miserable. (I don't think he'd started on the Pickled Santa at this stage of the evening. ;D )

Medibot didn't LIKE the Pickled Santa, remember? Or not? ;D Well I think I can be identified by association! Unfortunately...I never photograph well, whatever anybody else might say (and no, that isn't just an inevitable attempt at modesty, I really don't...am either not smiling or grinning like a doofus). I also look about 13. I'm not! No, you're 12 . I feel exactly the same way about photos, as I say every time someone takes one of me, unless I'm pissed. However, Mr. Martello, I do have some very nice photos of you, whatever YOU might say!

Medibot didn't LIKE the Pickled Santa, remember? Or not? ;D Err, that was my point! He hadn't started drinking it, so he'd no reason to look as if he was about to chuck up!

Hawky had some and I've given a lot of it away to other Sutton fans! Don't blame me!

I only didn't like it cos of the cinamonny stuff going on, there was nowt technically wrong with the beer so everybody else should be fine unless they hate that sort of taste too.

I have yet to taste my Pickled Santa - but as it's a winter brew, any number of interesting and un-beery flavours are feasible. Methinks I should have tarted yon piccies up a bit - Amber looks a bit like she's been posessed in the third one! And; I can't see any evidence of Andrew doing anything to her in the first... But then - I'm old. I might easily be missing something. The slightly bemused person on the left in the first picture is Jack - my delightful travelling companion and recently co-opted Hawks fan. It would not be unreasonable to state that she believes us all to be barking; in a very Tinpot way indeed. She'll get used to it.
