Throw-in takers

Are always endevouring to take the throw a few yards (and then some) from where the ball actually went out.

Such comments are heard at ours as
"aye up I've took me dog on shorter walks"

"Lino, I don't go that far on me holidays!!!!"

And when the Assistant referee invariably makes "wrong decisions"

"do ya hear, I've got a better lino in me kitchen"

I've always liked "if anybody else was as bad at their job as you are they'd be sacked" and the variations that can come from that

When i used to watch Soccer AM, i saw one of those 3rd eye things, where an Oldham throw-in taker shouted to one of his team mates who wanted the ball played long 'Im not that good'
