The occasion?

It's the day of the Connacht Senior Football Championship game between plucky contenders London and perennial All-Ireland favourites Sligo.

I will be perambulating rapidly towards the metropolis via the gift of George Stephenson's Electrified Railway - and thought - "hey this would be a great meetup opportunity" - for it combines the pillars of greatness:

Random Violence

So yeah - who's with me on this - a hot spring afternoon sat with a beer in hand watching 30 blokes batter the living crap out of each other (there may be a ball involved somewhere)

Just been confirmed it's a 2:30pm throw-in so I should be into London mid-to-late-morning

do the usual thing and meet up at a railway station in London for a drink or two and then travel out from there?

Croc my man. My korfball team has it's play-off game (they win they stay in the National League, they lose the team that wins replaces them and my club get relegated for the first time ever) so it's a big game. Starts 11:30am so no chance of making it the game in time but...

As i'll be up in London i will keep in mobile contact and try and get to you at some point in the afternoon for a few beers.
