I have to adopt Croydon now; but have retained a certain element of the local as they are playing S&L Corby - from the same league as Wellingborough.
The Doughboys had loads of posession at Croydon; created chances but didn't take them. On the plus side, away from the pitch, the club had a good look at the way things are done in sarff Lunnon and have got some ideas for developing some of the facilities at the Dog & Duck!
I would expect Croydon to win at S&L - though Corby itself can do strange things to a stranger! It really is a desolate place. S&L don't appear to have a website. The Corby Ladies do, but S&L do not.

Ahem, Croydon Athletic, different from Croydon who I picked out initially. Croydon Athletic are a decent team from what I've seen (held us to a draw in a PSF).

Carsh*ton beat Eastbourne Town.
My team, Cray Wanderers, lost 3-1 to a team called Sutton United. This means I now have to support Sutton. Oh dear ;D

Another change of club for me as Kidsgrove lost 4-0 at Eastwood Town. 2nd Qualifying Round draw tomorrow morning I presume.

Stewarts & Lloyds Corby walloped Croydon non-athletic; clearly; 5 - 1 This fills me with optimism that I may just have a 10 mile round trip for the Hawks in the 2nd round qualifying - rather than a 300 mile one

My particular baton has been passed on again, Concord not getting the upset I so confidently predicted. Thus I'm now with Hitchin, who are at home to Stanway Rovers.
Saw Stanway put Colchester out of the Essex Senior Cup last season, so they like a bit of the scalpin'.
I'll hedge my bets this time though and plump for a 1-1 draw.

I like Tivvy! Good fun.
S&L Corby are at home to Ilkeston - another blast from the past, Southern League wise.
