I'll have a go at explaining ours... Ashton United have 2 games left. If they take 3 points or less we are safe. If they lose at Whitby on Wednesday we are safe and can relax on Saturday. If Ashton overtake us we need to avoid finishing as the worst 19th place side at step 3. So, in the Ryman Premier... If Ashford town fail to beat Worthing or carsh*ton beat Folkestone Invicta we are safe. Also if Wealdstone lose their final 2 games in the BGB Premier, with their goal difference changing by the same as ours or worse. (e.g if we lose 3-0 and they lose 1-0 and 2-0) and breathe! I am so crap at trying to explain these things. P.s Forgot to mention that all this could be academic as it appears that Lancaster City will be wound up and start again from the Unibond First next season, which would probably result in no 19th place side being relegated, as happened last season.

Redditch will stay up whatever happens. Leigh play Worksop last game and therefore Redditch can only be caught by one or other of Leigh and Worksop but not both. Please don't tell Redditch that. No. I want Redditch to win too!

We shall do our best for you sir, though i'm feeling quite optomistic of a Robins win as we've hit something which resembles some sort of form in recent weeks. it's difficult for me to be sure as it's been so long that i've only got a hazy memory of what a run of good form looks like, but i think we've hit it ;D

We're in the Conference South play offs. Will either finish 2nd or 3rd (probably 3rd as I expect Havant to win at Fisher and us to roll down and die at home to Basing).
Whether some of us want to go up to the Conference just yet is another matter but play offs extend the season for a bit at least!

We beat Witton today 1-0. ;D Crowd of 1543 was at Wincham park. With the segregation it looked as though 1000-1200 were telford fans. We arrived over an hour before kickoff and programmes were sold out, queue for food was long but died down later. Actually payed the full adult price as the queue for the adults turnstyle was considerably shorter. As I got in quicker and we got 3 points it seemed worth the extra £3. A win at Burscough and we're promoted. A draw and it's possible but not definite, if Witton bet Frickley they would win the league, if they don't then a draw would be enough for us to win the league, not worth the risk however. Burscough can win the league if they win unless they win by just one goal and Witton beat Frickley by 3 or more goals in which case Witton can win. Long story short, for us atleast, we must win!

Its rather strange not to be involved in some sort of relegation fight. I would say that in 30+ years of supporting, we have escaped on the last day of the season 7 or 8 times (only failed once, last year dammit!). You know, I kind of miss those days.....

I suppose it gives you more of a rush than the average season of non-league mid tableness would ) Especially when you ALWAYS got away with it. Frankly i think it needed us to send you down to even the score up
